Leather Jacket: Just Jeans (thrifted!) // Top: Cotton On // Tights: Mango // Birkenstocks knockoff: Cotton On
Currently on high repeat; white tights from mango and thrifted just jeans leather Jacket. My go to combo.
Recently I have been finding myself throwing on this leather jacket over my casual outfits. Leather Jackets are such a staple in everyone’s wardrobe as it can dress up or grunge up a simple outfit like what I have on underneath.
On another note, I am currently working on a new project (slowly but surely coming together… with me at times procrastinating, and also facing technical difficulties and sometimes just having no spare time on hand) which may involve another social media platform *cough* youtube?… I have been considering starting one and I think it might be coming together… I mean I have filmed something so far. It’s just putting footage together and finding time. I have tried the whole youtube thing and gave up half way. This time I am determined to actually start one.
Sayonara babes, time to get some uni work done. Until then, keep calm and stay classy loves.

I am so happy to be finally back doing my monthly favourites post. This is one of my favourite type of posts to write up because I am talking about things I am thoroughly enjoying throughout the month!
It is funny because before I would cringe at the thought of owning or wearing a pair of birkenstocks. Birkenstocks were never really seen as anything fashionable, in fact far from fashionable.
2. White skirts/pants/tights
I have recently been hooked on wearing white skirts, pants and tights. If you see me on instagram you would know.
1. Revlon matte top coat
2. Benefit porefessional
3. Grown Alchemist Hand cream
4. Artiste Powder brush
5. Marc Jacobs eye brightener concealer
1. Green day and Switchfoot
2. Coconut water
3. Kim possible
4. Nana brand donuts
CONGRATULATIONS TO THOSE WHO MADE IT TO THE END OF THIS HUGE SUPER RAMBLING POST (VERY TYPICAL OF ME…).
My comfort zone (Ft. Bonds Au)

Black and white combo… because it’s safe and a classic!
If any of y’all know me well, or follow me on instagram, or have been reading my black, my style circles around monochrome outfits… because it looks good always and hella classy. Wearing no colour is definitely my comfort zone and it’s likely I will ever wear colour… only on certain occasions I do.
The way I like to jazz up a black and white combo is by playing with patterns, textures and cut outs! The skort I am wearing explains it all. By having a funky skort with asymmetric cut outs instantly makes an outfit more fun, put together and different from the traditional black and white.
Another way to glam up a simple monochrome outfit is to add accessories. My favourite at the moment is adding a beanie/ floppy hat, or layering necklaces (but in this instance, I opted for no accessories as I wanted to keep it minimal).
Also I wanted to say a huge thanks to Bonds au! They contacted me in June offering to send over some goodies to me. Of course I had to say Yes, I love Bonds and the amount of clothings they offer (majority are very basic, simplistic yet comfy clothing, which is totally up my ally! But I love how you can easily dress them up). So a huge thanks to them for the lovely goodies they sent (including some hella comfy trackies I am wearing right now!).
I think that is about it for today!
Current favourite songs/artists: You and Dare you to move by Switchfoot! Also Dancing in the moonlight by King harvest. Yea I have been just really into the early 2000s music and jams. I miss those times.
Ta my loves, see you soon.
Feeling 16 again

Jacket: Cotton On // Halter neck crop top: The editor’s market // Skater skirt: Cotton on // Black chunky boots: Lipstik Shoes
There’s just something about wearing skater skirts and crop top… it makes me feel sweet 16 again. Oh the early teenage years…
Isn’t it true though? Whenever I wear any type of “flowy skirts”, I feel instantly sweet 16, young, girly… well I mean I am turning 19 this year and heading towards “adulthood” and I see my style evolving to something more sophisticated and put together, while trying to maintain some fun edge.
I have to say thought, skater skirts… or circle skirts, whatever you wish to call, will always be a staple in my wardrobe for 2 reasons; comfort and figure flattering.
And here is me having fun in this comfy ensemble.
I’m glad we are heading towards the end of July which means winter will be over soon before you know it.
To end the post, here are some more shots of me… I had way too many pictures for this outfit.
I am currently now working on another blog post and queuing it for next week! Uni starts soon, gotta try and write in advance before my schedule gets real busy.
Also… I think I will be writing about my trip to Thailand, Sg and Malaysia soon. Stay tuned.
Current favourite drink: I have been obsessed with making my 3 ingredient mango smoothie! (Frozen mangos, water and milk!)
Ok goodbye for now and I will see you soon. Have a lovely weekend my loves.

There is something so crispy and chic about the white on white combo, Am I right?
Ahhh it feels good to be back on the grind, featuring some fashion content on my blog, at last!
In particular, I love this little outfit I put together the other day when out doing a little “alone time” window shopping near by neighbourhood shopping centre.
Btw, anyone notice how slow my hair has been growing? It is pissing me off quite a lot. My hair used to grow quite fast (back when it was healthy I guess). I think the recent colourings and heat I have been using on my hair is not doing any good to my hair.
Also, I would like to start a new thing with my blog post, to share my “current favourites" each post I do, so y’all can get to know me better!
Okay that is about it! I feel like this post is way too long.
I’m Back + Welcoming chapter 95 of Joy
posted on Jul 15th
So it’s been a few days since I have now been back from my getaway to Phuket, Singapore and Malaysia.
On other news, I changed my URL to chapter 95 of joy… I just wasn’t really feeling my old url (joyonara), it was something very “prompt” and not really thought through.
There are many more exciting projects I am working for my blog now that I am back to my daily routine with no distraction in the way (well besides procrastinating… even in the holidays, I still procrastinate. No judgement please haha). I can’t wait to share them with y’all.
See ya in a months time!

Before going on hiatus I thought I’d share a little quick post on an outfit I wore earlier this week!
Top: Missguidedau Pants: Supre Boots: Lipstik
Anyway, moving aside from that, it;s crazy to think my finals are exactly one week away! I don’t want that thought to sink it, but it has to. I am way to behind on things and I need to start prioritising my time right, therefore I will be going on a hiatus.
Love you guys!
